Strong interest and applications for employment with Foxconn received; statewide hiring fairs to be held as part of company’s ongoing recruitment drive
Milwaukee, WI – Foxconn Technology Group (Foxconn) today announced a series of hiring fairs throughout Wisconsin, beginning with an all-day event in Mount Pleasant, to recruit candidates interested in a wide range of job positions with the company. The hiring fairs will provide members of the public the opportunity to meet with Foxconn to learn more about available jobs and schedule interviews with hiring managers on-site.
“Foxconn has seen a high level of interest at the veteran, college and public career fairs that we have been attending, and an influx of candidates who want to join our company and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technological projects,” said Dr. Alan Yeung, Foxconn Director of U.S. Strategic Initiatives. “As we continue to accelerate efforts to build our diverse and talented workforce in Wisconsin, we are pleased to host our first hiring day in Mount Pleasant, where just three months ago we celebrated the groundbreaking of our state-of-the-art Wisconn Valley Science and Technology Park. We look forward to engaging with many interested candidates at the statewide hiring days, and welcoming successful applicants to our growing Wisconsin team and operations.”
Foxconn is currently recruiting in Wisconsin for several hundred positions that cover a variety of areas and skillsets in human resources, hardware, software and firmware engineering, finance and accounting, legal, business analysis, graphics and interior design, construction management, and sales and marketing.
Dr. Yeung said, “Wisconsin offers a talented, committed workforce, with the strong employment ethic and culture in the Midwest, and a long track record in advanced manufacturing, all of which presents an extraordinary opportunity in achieving our AI 8K+5G vision and supporting the state’s transformation into a global high-tech hub. As a long-term partner to the local community, we are committed to the shared goal of attracting and nurturing talent, and working with our Wisconsin partners to build a workforce of the future.”
The first of Foxconn’s hiring fairs will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 13 at 13315 Globe Drive, Mount Pleasant, followed by a series of other hiring fairs in Racine, Green Bay and Eau Claire – locations that are part of the talent and innovation network that Foxconn is establishing in Wisconsin.
